The US producer price index jumped 0.4% in November.
U.S. Retail Sales Growth Slows in November and it was smallest gain in 3 months.
Retail sales increased a seasonally adjusted 0.1% in November, below the 0.3% forecast of economists.
US producer price index remained unchanged in October compared to September, although Wall Street expected an increase of 0.3%.
The production index of purchasing managers in the Euro zone in October recorded the fastest growth in three years – 53.5 and beat the earlier forecasts.
A disappointing US economic data
The retail sales figures remained unchanged in July, while analysts expected an increase of 0.4% in this figure.
In addition, the producer price index disappointed investors after the index fell in July by 0.4% compared to expectations of an increase by 0.1% and compared with the index of June which recorded an increase of 0.5%.
